Florida Turkey Hunting?
« on: January 08, 2010, 09:48:00 PM »
I am trying to get hooked up with an area to get into some Osceola longbeards this season.  If anyone has some info on where to go (game land or public land) please let me know.  Any advise or information would be greatly appreciated!

Ok somebody out there has to have some information on turkey hunting in Florida.  I plan on going down for the Florida Traditional Archery annual meet and would like to get in some turkey hunting as the season should be in by then.  Any info would be great!

Check out the Fl Game Commission web-site.
I hunt the Big Cypress area in the Everglades.
It's not a quota hunt and there are quite a few birds, it's a long way from the TBOF shoot though. PM me if you want details.
