Sony commercial with recurve
« on: January 10, 2010, 01:07:00 PM »
I was watching the nfl pregame and the Sony commercial came on. The guy said pull and they shot a footbal in the air. He had a recurve and when the arrow came down it was a woodie stuck in the flat ball. What was the bow he shot? Anybody else see this?....Roy

Looked like a Martin to me. Jim Nantz had the "flying hand" release.

BTW, I'm a Steelers fan, but during the playoffs, I'll watch most anybody. Even the Ravens   :help:  .

There are actually 2 different Sony commericals with Nantz and the recurve. The other he drops the bow and throws an arrow.

Ask 3r if Sony ordered a bow from them. They are just down the road from Indianapolis. Maybe Sony brought a Samick from overseas with them for the commercial  :smileystooges:        :archer:

Yep, I saw it. the sound effects are great with the arrow "sizzling" into the ball.
