Cedar Prices?

I went to my local bow shop a few days ago, (the only game in town) asking about cedar arrows. they said they would be $90 a dozen. Is that a decent price or should I look elsewhere? These were priced out of a catalog and there is no choice of fletching color or style. I have been shooting 4 fletched for 20 years or more and these were priced for 3 fletched.

$90 a dozen better be fletched and matched arrows. thats a tad high
3Rivers has following:
Sitka Spruce for $31 dozen
POC for $29 dozen
Tapered ceders for $39 dozen
so yeah Id say $90 dozen is high

"Arrows" would indidcate they are fleched and ready to shoot "Shafts" would be sticks ready to make into arrows. That said, $90/doz is at the high end. You can get some custom made finely matched arrows set up just how you like em by contacting one of the site sponsors for that price range.

$90 sounds about right for a matched set of finished cedar arrows ready to shoot. I'd never pay that much though. I'm cheap. I'd rather make 'em myself just as good for $500 (thats what they cost me after I pay myself minimum wage for the work envolved)

Even making a dz yourself is going to make $50 look pretty bad. Not counting the sealant and time, just enough left over to pay Van I hope

elite arrows is the way to go...very hard to beat his price for what you are getting...Paul will take time with you, as well to make sure you are getting the right item.
He is $80 or $90 for grain and spine matched tapered arrows.
Give him a call, you'll be glad you did.
