On the more serious side, When you get to a point where you can face the facts, that you can't eat whatever you want, and you want to get healthier, PM me and I'll give you information towards that goal.

I should have been dead by now, so I have to figure the Lord left me here for a reason, helping people find this simple remedy is the only thing I can come up with.

Good luck.

Been pretty sick lately. Had 19 vials of blood taken last week & did a spit test. Good news is the Doc says everything will be fine but it will take a good 6 months for me to recover. He says no hard workouts right now but can get back at it in a month or two. Wish everyone out there still working on it good luck & keep going.

Never been to fat to hunt but may have hunted easier without knowing it. Some good humor from some of you - age makes it hard to stay slim if you don't put some effort into it. You would think it would be difficult but if your 50, you only need to get you heart up to 85-145 bpm or so (you can do that by walking). 1/2 hour and work up to 45 min every other day. You get outside, which is what we all like anyway.
220 - (your age) = MAX heart rate (work at 50-85% of that) get a heart rate monitor and use it.
You"ll get to hunt longer and see your family longer, promise. I use the hunting season as a reason to do it and fall off in December - one day I hope to go year round. I can't budge the scale down much, stuck around 200, peak around 208 and should be around 190 or so.

I hate to say it but it all starts in the grocery store. Simply don't buy what you know you shouldn't eat. Learn about carbs, proteins, salt and fats. Exercise is important but as one personal trainer told me at the gym, and he was correct, was that  you can't out train a poor diet.
