Flying with a Longbow and Arrows to Mexico

Title pretty much says it all....
My family lives in Mexico and I travel down there quite a bit. Their home backs up to the jungle and is a great spot to do some stumping! Anyone know the legalities of bringing a Longbow and maybe a few dozen arrows with field points to Mexico? I will be flying into Puerto Vallarta.
This is the town where they live....

Thanks

Don't know the rules but you'd sure better find out. If caught bringing in a gun it's jail time. Their jails are no fun. Call the Mexican Consulate. They'll either help you or refer you to someone who can. Suggest a sock & plastic bow tube for the trip.
