Bow/Arrow specs. 58" 50lb@28" Tall Tines "Kentucky Arrowhead Special Edition" recurve. Arrows are the 500 series 3rivers trad only carbons with 100 grain brass inserts and the small 100 grain 4 blade Magnus Stingers.
If you will notice the messed up feathers on this arrow. I've shot this same arrow (fletchings and all) through two deer before this doe and it's still going strong. I can glue the inserts in with hot melt and they stay and the nocks are just right. Not to tight or loose in the shaft. I really like these arrows. It was funny, the way you see the arrow sticking out is how she ran off after the shot. I was watching her run off very intently when she stopped and started to do the wobble. When I saw that I was saying to myself "Don't fall on the arrow, Don't fall on the arrow" haha. She fell over on the opposite side and that made it that much sweeter. My arrow was safe once again.
My biologist buddy actually has a scale he measures and ages fetus' on but he lives to far away so didn't age these two. We usually fool around with them a little more when it's not so warm. It was 50 degrees Saturday so I was in a rush to get her into a cooler.
