Trim the tab a little bit sounds like tab is hitting the arrow

Sounds really like your tab is telling you that you are putting too much pressure on the nock by pinching your fingers against it. (?)

Put a little powder on the tab. Corn starch will work, so will talc. Leather is often squeaky stuff. Heed Gorge's advice as well.

Are You using a brass nock set or a tyed on string ? I had some noise once from arrow nock/nock set. Seemed to stop with a tyed nock set. I also shoot three finger under arrow.
