Anoited, if you do a scouting/mushrooming trip, I am intersted if works out to be between my kids soccer and swimming schedules.
I have the weekend on my calender, we will se how my work schedule is in October.

Please keep me posted as well, I should be able to make it as well. I shot a beautiful 7X8 bull elk near Vienna Corners in 1994. Love to be around the elk and the deer!

No problem with room Huron Manistee national forest is almost 1 MILLION ACRES PUBLIC HUNTING
Lets see 13,000 trad gangers equels appox 77 acres per person. Come on spread out :D

You could always go north through Wisconsin and travel through the U.P. Then just take the Mackinaw bridge south and you are only an hour away! You would have some incredibly beautiful scenery on the way as well...
