Bear Bow Experts?
« on: January 22, 2010, 09:36:00 AM »
Wondered whether you Bear Archery aficianados could help give me some info on a Bear recurve that was my Grandfathers.

I think the bow is a Grizzly, but am not definitely sure.  It is marked "15BE78" is 60" and is 43# with what looks like yellow fiberglass.  The bow still has the Trebark camo tape that my grandad put on it and I have never removed it to look at the bow further.

Any info you could give me on it would be appreciated. Thank you- Brad

I do not think there was any 60" Grizzly's.Lots of 60" Kodiaks and just guessing from your serial number I gotta say your grandads bow maybe a late 1950's to mid 1960's Kodiak or Kodiak Special ??????? Pics would solve the mystery bd
