o.k. i have a min. now.
the hunt, wade and i went out after work about 4:30. we got into a area around aladdin wy. we got out and gave a few calls nothing. we walked up a creek bottom from a old road. about 1/8 mile in we gave a few more calls.....gobble! gobble!
ya right there a few hundred yards... we walk slowly along the road. then we came to a opening(behind me in pic.). we stopped still in the brush for a second...gobble! find a spot he is right on us! i set down in the road and wade wentback 20 yards and up the hill 10 yards. he called gobble! gobble! about 30 seconds later i see the gobbler strutting past the brush and then gobble! i wait for him to come out into the road....then there his head ..draw...beard..ya thats big enough! and i look and he turned runs down the road wings flapping and 30 yards later falls to ground and flapps once more and thats it!
i hit him in the lungs, arrow stayed in him he couldn't fly.
   10" beard
    3/4 spurs
    20+lb bird
= 1 fun night of turkey hunting!
