It has been warm tha past week or so and most the snow is gone. We are on the eastern edge of the Allegheny Mountains, at about 1200 ft elevation, so we don't usually get the neck-deep snows like they do up top. Just twenty miles up the road...and up the mountain...they have three more weeks of winter than we do 8^). That's fine with me.
Mudd....the area my great grandfather came from was S.E. Germany, near what is now the Czech Republic.
