Reshaped my grip - What clear coat to upply???
« on: January 25, 2010, 12:42:00 AM »
I reshaped my grip on one of my bows. Is there a clear coat protectant I can buy somewhere like Home Depot that I can brush on. It is just a hunting bow and do not care if it matches perfect to the rest of the riser. I just want to protect it from the elements when hunting. Thanks for your help.

Tru Oil is great on gunstocks and risers-just wipe it on.

I like to use Minwax fast drying polyurethane.

Thin superglue will do fine.
