Hunt'n somthing year round?
« on: January 25, 2010, 07:52:00 PM »
Well deer seasons over, and I'm not ready to put my bow down! I am going on a hog hunt march 5th so I have been shooting every day, but I cant wait to get back into the woods. looked at legal game species for tn, and right now I can take ducks, geese, racoons, beavers, otters, bobcats, and groundhogs. So now I just gota find me some critters! Any body else do this after big game seasons over?

Deer and other fall game, then hogs & javies, then spring turkey, then bow fishing - and back to deer season. What after season?

I heard a teacher in Texas asked the first graders what the 4 seasons were in order and got this answer - dove, quail, deer and turkey.

Coyotes year round, rabbits until March 15th, carp spring and summer. Deer, Elk, Bear, and Cougar in fall and winter.  Year round hunting rocks.

I love to hunt and I love to shoot so I will continue shooting every day 3-4 dozen a day as I always do.I just use different paper animal target and move the deer target around to give me difficult shots. And I'm gonna try the 3d shoots this summer should be interesting.

Yep, was in Texas the first week of Jan. and will be in California the middle of April for hogs then back in Oregon for turkeys, then May is spring bear and then I will be scouting for deer/elk seasons from there on out.
