It's a cool looking head, but to be honest, I think it would be a mean death in comparison to other heads. Dosn't have the shock power of a blunt or the killing power of a broadhead. Of course this is just my opinion, which you asked for.

I think right wing feathers would give better penetration, but I'll wait for the Ashby report.

No disrespect meant, and I know how this could appear coming from someone who makes a small game head so take it as a well meaning question and nothing more. But wherein lies the killing power?  In my opinion a small game head should have blunt force trauma or cutting blades or preferably both.  Is there a way you could add a nut, or a washer or something behind the screw to jack up the blunt portion?  I would think that would be better for small game.  Again, not trying to put it down, I'm all for homemade heads.  I just think that on live animals you'd be better off if you could add some knock down power.

It's like the one Daniel Y made I think it looks awesome too......

He uses it with great results.....are they cheaper than the ones out there...maybe not...more work obviuosly, but the satisfaction of something of your own making can be all you really need out of it period.

Just to have an imagination like that is priceless....In the words of George Carlin " We all need some day dreaming time" from this we can again become creative. :bigsmyl:
