b-dog, I haven't been to Comptons, but have attended ETAR for several years. Always have a great time, plenty of courses and areas to shoot, plus many vendors. It's a family affair and great people. The night coon shoots are a blast! I would advise you to make reservations as soon as possible if staying outside the Denton Hill grounds. If camping on the grounds, get there early, no later than Thursday noon, because the camping spots go quick.

I've been to both. ETAR has more courses and some pretty cool target set-ups. Compton's courses are very good, but not as many as ETAR. However, I always have more fun at Compton's - just a better feeling of camaraderie and good-natured fun.

Benji, if you want to see lots of vendors and plenty of courses to shoot I would Reccomend ETAR. I enjoyed it both times I went
