with our kifaru packs we just strap the meat on the freighter thing and to the pack.

Thanks Guys...Hey Scott...which model is that pack ya got?  I prolly won't need it this fall as vacation will be an issue, but, if we do that Elk hunt next fall I'll prolly have to get my own....I'll let ya know either way.

I'll have to look. I bought it from Cabelas. It's an Alasken model-not sure which one though. It's pretty comfy and you can pack alot with it. When we elk hunt I leave it in camp and take a smaller pack out for the day. If you knock one down you bag it up and take one hindquarter over your shoulder and go back to camp to get the big pack.I'm tired just thinking about it. Give me a call this weekend.
