Yes, I talked to John about it a great deal. He stated if you only have time to shoot one bow, "you need" to shoot this 12" bow--He is that impressed with it. Unfortunately I ran into to some friends and small talked my way through the show. I plan on heading back today.

We had a chance to discuss the recurve, he is very excited about that bow. He expects in the next 6-8 months to have it ready for us all to see. He had a few there hidden away--He offered it to me to shoot and I told him I would be back today to take him up on it.

Great fellow to talk to.

Pete,

Thanks. I'm going to bring that thread to the top. I think I'm going to be sick from reading it. I had no idea A&H had this in the works. Its amazing what you'll miss just spending a few days away from the net. I need another ACS like a hole in the head.......

Kevin,

Be sure to give us your impressions on the bow. With someone as picky as you are, I know we will hear the straight scoop.

Sorry to disappoint gents, I was unable to get my hands on the 12" ACS today--Pretty busy place. Quite a few tradgangers there, I am certain someone will comment on that bow.

Allan, Picky as I am ?       --What on earth would ever give that impression?? LOL I would think that painstaking or meticulous would be more of an accurate statement.    :bigsmyl:

I must say though Allan, the Shrew Model-T looked awfully good. Take care.

I shot the little 12" and was really impressed with it's pointability and quickness!  I did feel some vibration after the shot but I did on all of the ACS bows because the arrows were pretty light for the set-ups.  It was very light and felt identical to the one pc ACS.  Shooting was limited to 8yds but I had good accuracy with it and it was very smooth drawing.  John said that it needed a good 650gr. arrow to really shine and nock out the vibration.  I'm glad they didn't have a heavy arrow for me to shoot.  ;)

I had the same impression as Kenneth. The bow was smooth and quick. My arrow wasn't quite right for it but after the first 4 arrows it shot a great group ,but only 8 yards:) John says part of the arrow noise is because the bow is cut so far past center to allow a greater range of tuning, and my arrows could need more tuning. I look forward to shooting it again at Compton's with the then best technology available. ACS really does there homework and testing on their bows.

Great little bow.  L loved that little riser and RC grip.  I can't recall the weight, but I want to say low 40's.  It was pushing my 540 gr. arrows hard.
