21st Century Nova....
« on: February 02, 2010, 01:46:00 AM »
Had sold this 12-13 yrs ago to my cousin. All mesquite with graphite. The fellow I bought it from had gone to their shop to order one and supposedly this was either Jim's or Buddy's bow and he bought it. Don't see too many mesquite bows, thought I would share. Cloudy here or I would have better pics. The mesquite has a lot of depth to it.

If I remember, all their bows were made for fast flight correct? Anyone know the recommended brace height? It's at 6 3/4 in the pic, looks a little low. Shot it a few times this evening. Too heavy for me, my have someone take it down some.

I had a buddy the had a mesquite 21st Century,a sweet bow.I have a 66" Nova myself, the older 21st Century's used a higher brace height.I believe a 62" brace was around 8-8.25,a 66" was 8.75-9 brace because they were highly R/D.They used a higher brace height so the string did not touch the belly of the limbs to make them IBO legal. The newer design 21st Edge they shot a lower brace,my 66" Edge I brace at 6.5 and my 66" Nova I brace at 8.75.
