Hawk: with my 32” draw length, poundage numbers are a little difficult to compare. The arrow I shot through that bull weighed 499 grains on my scale, and my bow puts it through a chronograph at 194 fps. The buddy of mine, Ted, who called for me, had never seen anyone shoot an animal with a recurve. After the shot, he said that he couldn’t get over how easily the arrow blew through the bull’s chest.
