My favorite recurve! And that one's a beauty. I'm usually a longbow guy but keep Don's bow with three sets of limbs because I've never had one I like better.  I keep reading threads where guys say "I had a xxxx bow and sold it....sure wish I had it back."  I'm always wondering if it shot as good as they say, why in the world get rid of it! They don't eat anything if they hang unused for a while, and then it's almost like getting a new bow if you take it down and mess around with it--new silencers or string, and a whole lot less expensive. At least that's been my experience.
The years accumulate on old friendships like tree rings, during which time a kind of unspoken care and loyalty accrue between men.

Wow...that is a great bow.  Like George said thought...background for your photos is real important.
Lets the lens see all the shades and colours.
Deer hides work great too.

I absolutely love my Assenheimer! It is my go to bow if I am not in the zone and need to get my grove back. If I have been doing a lot of target practice, with my other bows, and I get tired, I lean on the Assenheimer.

I point, shoot and the arrow hits the mark. What more can a hunter ask for?
