I would like to share this with guys who want to set up feathers fast and perfect on your Bitz jig.
Get a real flexible plastic vane 3,4 or 5" and buy a tube of Scotch restickable glue (staples).
Rub some on the base of the vane and press it on the shaft with your clamp-You can remove the shaft from the jig for a look see and if not right, you can reposition it over and over until you get the perfect angle you desire. No more screwed up feathers!!

not confined just to a bitz jig, works with most any fletching jig. if yer a tape fletcher, just use that instead of glue - the tape pulls off fairly easy when first installed, but a few hours later it'll be a bear to get off!
