Well, over the past couple of years I have been flying out to Kansas to take some classes @ JCCC for work and have made some local non-hunting buddies. One of the guys has property in Paola and according to the unit map that is unit 11. I know I have to draw a tag first but I just wanted to get a little input from some of you guys who have hunted in that area. Any feedback would be appreciated. Thanks, Phil

Phil,
I live in Olathe, not more than a few miles from JCCC. Let me know when you are coming out again. Could take you out to our range to shoot as well as maybe do some hunting together.

Phil, The hunting is good in the Paola area. As every where there are pockets that are very good. The deer herd is not as good as it was ten years ago though. I noticed a real decrease in trophy bucks in my area last year over years past. Over all unit 11 is a very good choice for eastern Kansas. If I can give you any more info give me a yell. Ben
