Something weird going on out there. Are all of these deer from the same general area?

This deer isn't deformed but the photo before this he was in a scrape. He was not a happy deer if you notice he is doing the sideways walk and his ears are laying back. I didn't get the next photo it was just a big brown blob and my game camera was pushed up the tree around to the other side and the case was cracked and had gouge marks on it with strands of hair.

This little buck had his antler growing out right above his eye. I let him go several times to see what he would look like next year. Neighbors shot him during gun season.

I have shot lots of deer but for this bucks small rack I have never seen a buck have such a swollen neck.

I once lived in an area in Washington, where we would see mule deer with growths sometimes. We watched one doe named Mommababy ,who had a softball sized growth on her jaw.She brought in twin fawns for 5 out of at least 7 years.Could always tell that it was here because of that soft ball on here face.Didnt affect her eating and evedentally the bucks still found her attractive.Nice pics, thanks for sharing.Wish you lots of luck on your next three mile island hunt, haha.

I got a set of photos of this buck on 8/31/09. I really wanted to kill this buck because he looked so weird, but never saw him again, either on film or in person.

These deer haven't been hangin out near the Wolf Creek Power Plant have they?  LOL!

If that beast of a droptine was hangin around there, I think I'm going to move.........

Yeah, It was a weird season for sure but we only saw one weird racked buck last year. Plenty of heathly deer around and my son and I had 30+ bucks scouted for this last season and that was on 4 different spots.

Heres his buck from last season.

Nice big body deer around here.

They sure love the soy beans.

Chris,
This was back when they were doing a lot of testing on the DU round they used in Desert Storm and they shot a lot on the main front.  We were in the area adjacent to the main front and when they blew the siren for a shot I would clamp the bow between my legs and hold on to the tree with both arms.  The ground literally shook.  Surprisingly the deer never noticed it.

Interesting pics, thanks for posting them.

My trail camera pics were pretty frustrating this year. They were proof that I made the wrong stand choices, I got pictures of nice bucks when I was not there. I guess that's hunting.

This is the only goofy racked buck from the year before. My buddy Guru named him "Top Hat"

Left side is normal but the right side turns in really bad.

Here's a old doe that comes up in are yard all the time. We named her "Patch" because of the white patch on the neck.

She is ten years old and had triplets two years in a row. She's kind of special in are neighborhood.
