Has anyone ever shot a Millenium Bow?
« on: April 20, 2007, 02:20:00 PM »
Has anyone ever shot the Millenium bow being manufactured in Canada? I would like to hear some reviews, but I can't find anyone that has owned or shot one.

Thanks
Gil

I never shot one but I handled one.

So take it with a grain of salt.
Finish is good, looks very solid, draws smooth.

Thanks Manny. I have been in contact with the bowyer. They were tested getting speeds of 230 fps with a 60# @ 30 bow shooting a 540 grain arrow. I was hoping to hear from someone that shot one.

Thanks again

Dean I agree. They had it posted on their website. That is why I would like to hear from someone that has shot one. I had corresponded with them and they have since taken it off their web site. In an email to me they stated that, "We reach the 230 fps with the ATA standards (60#@30", 540gr)."

I guess they are going to revise their estimates. It would have been nice though.

That is with 5gns per lb instead of 9grs or so they admitted on another thread on a differant site. The claimed they had one model that would shoot 200fps at AMO specs of 540gn arrow and 60lb draw at 30".That puts them in the pack with a lot of the better bows. This is a response from the bowyer to the 230fps thing...

60#@30" shooting 540 gr and 360 gr arrows. The 230 is a conservative number for the 360 gr. Our Mach 6 and the new GF 6 will shoot more than 200 fps with a 540 gr arrow.
....Quality deer management means shooting them before they get tough....

Tks James
more than 200 fps with 540 gr arrow sure is fast, in fact I belive, if the numbers are accurate, it will be faster than Fedora, Fedora jr or Ballistik... but is it possible that nobody ever shot this bow to give us any feedback?!?!
