Morrison Mini 14 Recurve Pics and comparison
« on: February 16, 2010, 09:45:00 AM »
I'm considering acquiring some new ILF recurve limbs for my morrison mini 14. Does anyone have any braced pics of C (medium) limbs vs. d (long) limbs on a mini 14. Also, my draw is about 28" and I would welcome any comments or comparisons of these different lengths. Is there any differnce in how they draw or shoot at the same weight? I'm not really concerned with speed issues just whether one is noticably easier to shoot than the other at 28". I suspect the answer is no but I thought I'd ask anyway. Thanks

Goke:  I have a mini 14 and a set of C and D limbs.  My draw is 29", I dont have a problem with either combination. The Mini and the C limb make a 56" bow and the D limb makes a 58" bow.  With my longer draw I really like the 58" combination, very smooth and good performance. I use the 56" combo. out of ground blinds, works great.  With a 28" draw you wont habe a problem with either, just pick the bow length you want and go for it.
