I know it doesn't really matter what length the arrow is but 1in is enough clearance for safety. For those who are frustrated with tuning carbons and leave them several inches longer than their draw, you just have to add more weight to the front. No problem with that because it gives you more foc. If the arrow ends up to heavy go to one size spine lower, cut the arrow the same length, and add point weight. I think gold tips are 15-35, 35-55, 55-75, and 75-95 so you shouldn't have a problem finding the correct arrow weight.
