« on: February 18, 2010, 02:49:00 PM »
Hello, i have a used 3 piece recurve arriving any day here. I bought this used from our site here, i got thinking i have no clue how much to tighten the limb bolts. Do they just need to be snug or will i know when tight is tight? the last nthing i want is to ruin this thing. may be kind of a stupid question to some of you so take it easy on me..  :)

thanks, Jason

Just a nice hand tight is good.

Yep.  Just snug but not real tight.  Check them after shooting the bow for the first time.  May be able to get another 1/16 or 1/8 turn on the bolt.  Should only have to do it once, unless you take the bow down and start over, of course.
