I tried a Skookum & cordovan tab from them. Was less than impressed by them. The plastic plate that goes toward the palm of your hand, really scraped my face. I keep my anchor really dug in close to my face. The plate was always making a sore spot om my face where it touched. I use a Bateman cordovan tab & am very satisfied with it. Made very good & only about $11.00. i do have an Alaskan Super Tab that's nice too. Never used one but, Eagle's Flight archery is supposed to make a good tab at a decent price. Got one of their quivers & was real happy.Good folks too.
God Bless

I have Bateman cordovan tabs too and highly recommend them. I'm sure Eagle Flight makes good ones too because everything Don makes is first class.

Hey Flint, try to make your own.
Sterling and Russ showed me, a loooong time ago.  You can build it the way you want/need it.

You can make a tab from a single piece of leather but I have come to the conclusion that a constructed tab from cordovan or calf hair are unmatched. After shootig with them for awhile I would never want to shoot again with a glove or a plain one piece tab.

I have two of the megatuff's and really enjoy the feel of them.  The first one I had, the screw for the finger separater broke the plastic.  The last two shoot very well.  It is a soft leather and the pad is smooth. I would try them.  The price is only about $17.00

I have been shooting the Alaska Bowhunting Cordavan tab for a couple years now having switch from 12 years of wearing a glove.  I really like it, the more I shoot the better it gets.  No signs of wear after thousands of shots and the service I received was really good.  Well worth trying.

Give me a call, Flint.  I'll fix you up with one of the Saunders tabs.  Not particularly traditional, but very slick and bulletproof.
