Hey JC,

I think we'll get pretty close in the glue-ons so you could add an adapter and get the 300 you want in a screw-in.

Well since I put the name to the Talon, I figure I need to get out and shoot something with them...  I'll see what I can do tomorrow.  ;)

On looking them over I really like the fact that you can put an edge on them pretty easily...  Unfortunately I only have one setup that I can shoot that light of a head with... but one is better than none!  That would be my request, is for a 175, 200, and a 250 grain version to fit all of my other setups.  Very good design and construction.  I'll see what I can do to them tomorrow...

Please put me on the calender as well for glue on heads. I have been working with Archery P@$^, getting some heavy shafts, and adding poin weight by drilling out and adding 1" to 2" +/- of brass. Getting 725gr with 145 gr eclipse.

The talons will be the cat's meow for ALL SMALL GAME.

Is 725 gr enough for a rabbit? I was wanting to try out for the new Monty Python movie!      :knothead:

Stan,

What is the weight going to be on the glue-ons?

Are you takin' advance orders?

Shinken,

The first run will be 150-160 grains, but I'm working on a system that would allow you to bump that up 25 grains without changing heads.  I think that would make them more versatile for guys to tune to their setup with.  I'm a little hesitant to do advanced orders just because I don't machine them myself and the folks that do have other business to run on the machine so I can't promise the date they'll be available.  I will definitely put a post on here when they are ready to ship.  Thanks,

Stan

JC I have the 125 and shoot 250 up front. I put them on a gold tip with the brass screw on weights behind the insert. Got them to 300 no problem. Great head Stan!

Not much to shoot at other than stumps, leaves, pinecones so far... They have held up very well, fly great, and will do the job when the time arrives to take a critter I have no doubt!

Look's like a good head. I'd like to try them on jackrabbits, prairie dogs, skunks, ect. I think they would anchor a grouse pretty well. Also look's like it would work great for head shooting turkeys.

I'll keep my eyes on your website. Just waiting for glue on models.

Others yes, but turkeys no!

Turkeys need a very sharp bh!  And I believe the bigger, the better!!

I did say "head shooting turkeys". I know guys that shot turkeys in the head with a regular steel blunt. Knocked them dead.

I'm not that stupid to shoot a turkey in the body with a head like that. I have only been bowhunting for 27 years.

Sorry bud, I didn't see the "head shooting" part....and I didn't say anything about "stupid"...just trying to help...

But why even head shoot with a blunt, when you can head shoot with a big bh?

They will kill a turkey, but I really don't recommend it.  We've got a broadhead coming out soon for that   :D

Hope to have the glue-ons for you all by the end of the week.

Aren't those 'Guillotine' style BHs best for head hunting turkeys?
