Thanks everyone.
The old order is passing. Swiftly receding into memory are the days of strong, earnest men who followed an atavistic yearning to pit their skills against wild animals.

The educational thing about the blood trails was that the arrow stuck in the first hog with no exit wound. That was because I hit the off shoulder. If I had not marked the last place I saw the bush move I may not have found her.

The blood trail was very sparse,it was more above the ground rather than on it. She only went maybe 60 yards but it was through some thick accumulated stuff!!!!!!

The second sow was like following a drunk sloshing his Hurricane at Mardis gras... for 20 yards. Then it quit. When I found her 20 yards later she was still alive!!!!!!! I had to go back to the truck to get my bow to settle the issue.

Again I would like to have pictures to show y'all, but once again ignorance prevails .

Sweet!  I love seeing harvested animals in the back of a pick-up truck.  It's the picture of success!  Congrats and enjoy your meat!
