Last time I talked to Jim he had some of the cocobolo left (see first pic on his website) that has heartwood and sapwoood. Beautiful.

Me....my next bow will be all domestic hardwoods, specifically kentucky woods for added mojo.

I have a 1pc that'll be done in a couple weeks that has Ziricote riser with black and white ebony stripe and Dalmation ebony limbs.  I have a 2pc. on order that's gonna be Macassar ebony and Zebrawood combo.  And I'm probably gonna order another one piece with all WV woods (Walnut, Sugar Maple, and White Oak) or maybe I'll go for the cheapest ugliest wood he can find and have him camo dip it.  Hmmm.... so many decisions.  ;)
Chasing my kids and my degree for now but come next fall the critters better look out.  ;)

I have been admiring Big Jim's bows for a long time and have saved quite a few pictures in my searches.

With Jim's permission I am posting a link to a slide show. It displays some of Jim's great work.

I have two bows on order and can't wait to get my hands on them.

Enjoy, I do it helps the wait go faster   :)
