I know Quinn Bows offer a big bang for the buck, from my son's experience with his Stallion. However I find the magnesium riser too cold on my hand and was looking at the Longhorn, can anyone who has one rate the Longhorn for me? Thanks  :archer:

I have a Longhorn.  Limbs are top notch, as with all Quinn bows.  Unfortunately the bowyer doesn't appear to spend much time shaping the riser.  It was very big and blocky and didn't feel very good in the hand.

Fortunately it's so big and fat that there's plenty of excess wood there - at least for the 40 lbs I'm pulling - and I was able to shape it to my liking with a dremel, a fine microplane rasp, and sandpaper.

Of course then I had to re-finish the handle!  But after all that I now have a bow I really like.

Put a rubber slip on gip on the Quinn stallion, have it on all three of mine. Works great in cold weather.
