Which Carbon Arrow for 30#@25"

Looking at carbon arrows for a bow that will be used at: 30#@25 inch pull with an arrow length of 26.5-27". Doesn't seem any of the charts I see list anything for this low though I know Carbon Express has their Heritage 75's and 90's out. Easton has some 600 spine's. Would these work for the above specs ?  Does anyone know the difference between the Heritage 90's and 75's ?

Any guidance is much appreciated.

I think easton has a series called Redlines that goes all the way up to 1000 deflection. Might need to get you some 800's and then play with point weight and length ? If it is a recurve you can shoot a wider range of spine since most are cut to center or past. Just passing on what I learned from Mr. Rod Jenkins. His pet peeve is low poundage bows for youngins shooting Dad's old arrows that are waaaaay overspined. JMHO

I have a bow about that wieght about 34# at 26 and I use easton epic 600s cut long almost 30 inches. my draw is 26. 125 grain head. U could add some more wieght.

If you use a carbon you are going to need the 1000 deflection Redlines.You will either use nibs or a half out insert.Either way you will use their tips because they are very small diameter shafts.I would go with the half out inserts and play with length and point weight to bareshaft.

Don't be concerned about arrow length.Just play with them untill they tune.A sure way to mess up a bunch of carbon shafts is to cut them a specific length and then try to tune them.

beman makes the ICS Energy shafts that my wife uses with her 26@25 bow.  They go up to .780 spine.  They are the same as the redlines only cheaper.

cx, 75 8.8 grn per in. .608 spine  cx 90 9.4 grn per in. .530 spine,  as oppossed to rebel hunter at 10.6grn. .397 spine, for thier 4560 and 11.3 grn. and .342 spine for thier 6075..arrow charts show rebel hunter 4560 good to go at 27" and 30# draw wt. as well as hr. 90's .. go figure...

Thanks all. I think I'm going to try the Carbon Express Heritage 75's. I'll start at full length (I think they come 29"). and work with point weight and trim length if needed.

if the bow is a longbow not cut to center i think the 75s will be too stiff...... if its a recurve cut to center or past you may get them to work..

I'd look into dandamans suggestion.

The bow is an old Locksley "0975" Recurve marked 64" 35# @ 28". Measured on my scale it pulls exactly 30#'s at 25" and 35# @ 28" to same spot on front of shelf. I'm not certain if it's cut to center ?  As much as I can find on google searches this is probably from the mid 60's. Not sure if manufacturers were cutting to center in the 60's ?

From what you guys are telling me it looks like the CX Heritage 75's might be too much spine ?  Maybe I should take R H Clarks advice and try the Easton Redline 1000's ?  I was trying to stay away from skinny arrows but my biggest goal with this bow is getting it to shoot properly.

Another thing.... Eastons chart specifies XX75 1916's w/125 gr points for 30# with a "Hunting length" arrow of 26.5"

Google Stu Millers Spine calculator and use that.I have found Eastons can be off from time to time.
