«
on:
March 07, 2010, 06:13:00 AM »
Hello to all of you
Well after reading some many wonderfull stories about hunting trips i decide it was my time to do one.
Like the title says, i'm leaving in less than 20 days to New Zeeland ....
I wanted to share it because it's this forum who gave me that extra to make the step ....
I'll try to keep you posted and hope you can enjoy it like i did when reading all the stories.
Thanks
Frederik

Some friends of mine just got back from that area.
Dry ground made stalking difficult, but they got some rain in the end and took a nice red deer hind.
Best of luck mate...you'll love it!

It's on my list of dream destinations. The fishing and hunting are what dreams are made of. Every animal and fish they have seems to grow to Jurassic proportions.
I always found it interesting that with it's relation to Australia a country with as many venomous beasts as any place on the planet that New Zealand has none or so I’ve heard?
Take lot's of pictures and write a great report
Good Luck, you are a lucky man

Wish I could get down there. This might be a bit intrusive but...what as a trip like that costing you? Also, take your flyrod man...the trout fishing in New Zealand is legendary.
