Two great looking bows! Congratulations to you both.

God bless,Mudd

PS: If you took that picture within the last few weeks you need to enjoy the snow that's left.

It feels like the Mekong delta here this morning. Yuck!

Not to butt in here but just to let everyone know that as we speak, Earl (Hunter709...the starter of this thread) is pearched in a tree overlooking a bear bait. I know for a fact that the Cari-bow in question is with him. Kinda cool that this thread was brought back up the very day he may kill his 1st big game animal with Trad. equipment. Fingers crossed!

And that Featherhorn is a real beauty! Very nice with those antler tips and riser overlay! Why did the former owner sell it? Most people tend to stick to their Cari-bow.....

Sorry Larry no hero shots today. I had a great evening at the bear bait, spooked a small one as I came in at around 5:30. I was real slow until 9:00 when a few started to circle the bait. One finally came in around 9:45 and left right at dark. I judged him to be on the small side, he gave me a broadside shot but I decided not to shoot.  It was the last day for spring bear here in Manitoba so I guess I will wait for the fall season.

Hi Mudd, the pic of me with the snow was taken on March 14th (the day I started the thread). We had an early spring in Manitoba with beautiful weather in April which is rare. Its been rainy and cool for most of the second half of May and June. Weird weather this year, at least if gives us something to talk about (lol).
