A&H Archery / ACS Bow in North Georgia
« on: March 15, 2010, 05:42:00 PM »
I am getting back into traditional archery after a long hiatus from any shooting.  I did not leave to the darkside of compounds but just focused on my other hobbies. So, I am looking to get back in and would appreciate seeing one of the A & H Archery bows that get a bit of press.  Do any of you guys that are in the North Georgia/Chattanooga, TN area have one I could see? I would be willing to travel if needed to view one.

The reason I am interested in the ACS is because I want to be able to shoot at a reasonable speed but at a decreased draw weight.  Are there any other bows out there that are comparable to the A&H ACS in performance?  If so, I would love to get real world performance input on these as well.

Most of the high end bows......A&H, BW, Black Swan, Morrisson, Schaefer, and others shoot within a few FPS of each other. It is all about personal preferences-shoot as many as you can get your hands on.

I think Bjorn's advice is right on.  I would just add to the list Border bows in Scotland, and if you are so inclined, looking for a used DAS Kinetics or the DaLaa from 3Rivers Archery.

If you've got a 28" or less draw, I've got a couple of Morrisons you can shoot...I'm about 15 minutes from Terry.
