BH Vapor 3000?

By Stu's calculator I want to use the Vapor 3000's BUT Gold Tip bought them out and I can't find the equivalent. Can anyone recommend a shaft, maybe even a better one at a 300 spine around 8gr/"?

The old Blackhawk Vapor 3000 has a spine of .400 which is equal to a GT 55/75.The equal in the new GT Vapor's is the Vapor 400.

GT Ultralight 300 is .300" deflection and 8.5gr./in.

I use these for my 71@31 Widow and get 34.0% FOC.

I shot the Carbonwood 3000's for a few years before switching to the Beman MFX shaft but what I found is the 3000 spine was in between the GT 55/75 and 35/55, slightly weaker then a 55/75 and just a little stiffer then a 35/55 almost like right in between those 2.  I bareshaft all my arrows and could shoot the 3000's at 29in with a 100gr insert and 125gr tip.  With a GT 55/75 I had to shoot them at least 30-31in with same tip weight and the 35/55 at 28in were too weak for my bow.  My spine tested shows the same difference as well.

I found the BH 3000's weaker than GT 55/75 also. Much weaker even though they are both supposed to be .400 deflection.

that makes sense as the old carbonwood 4000s are close in spine to the GT 55/75

I still have one dozen of the Vapor Carbonwoods in 3000 and I've been getting $45 per dozen, nocks and inserts included.
