You know,  I sat back and though long and hard about this.  On the one hand you guys said it was OK.  That is gonna come back and haunt you.

However.  I agree with several of those above. . . that question should never have been asked of you.  Never.

It is the outfitter's responsibility to run his business and that includes making the reservations match his ability to provide.

Now there are 24 unhappy people.

By the way,  listening to the rest of your story, I am guessing that the hunting would have been tough either way, even if only a few of you were there.  If those hogs are hunted full time, they will react as if hunted full time.
My  two cents

I think I know where you hunted, I have been there three times myself.
It is only hunted one weekend a month and the hogs are fed year round so they are there but they are spooky and hard to get a shot.
I know he has terrible reservation system and never knows for sure who is coming.
He puts on a good hunt for a reasonable price but could use some computer training to get the system of organization a bunch of hunters down.
I could not have sent the other hunters home either but your group should have hunted for free!

This is my last post on this subject! I will go back to this place in the future as we did have a good time and the hunt was a fair price! If there had not been so many hunters I do think the outcome would have been different!!

Frankwight you are right! I have used this outfitter in the past and have had no issues with him!! He did make some concessions for us like not charging most of the guys full price and letting the guys who could stay, hunt Sunday afternoon! I on the other hand paid full price but had to leave Sunday around 10:00am since I had a 5-6 hours drive home!
