Help with bow search
« on: March 17, 2010, 12:51:00 PM »
Hi, I was wondering if any of you could suggest a bow for my special someone. She is not all that strong, so maybe a youth bow?

I've only been shooting for about two years, but I'm going to try and introduce her into the world of hunting and traditional archery.

Thanks so much

I recently did the same thing.  I will likely buy one of Mike's bows for her in the future, but starting out you just don't know if she will take to it or not.  I decided to buy an older, lighter weight bow to start out with.  Check the classifieds or post a WTB on the classifieds and someone can set you up at a reasonable cost.  You might even get a bow that somebody else tried this with for his significant other.

Ok, I'll definitely keep that in mind, and probably do just what you said. Thanks

I agree with maddog.  We have two in our family and we love them.  Very affordable also.
