Well from Tuesday March 16, till the 19 I was doing some traing for the Job I have. I had to go from town to town, Stopping at Sonic and What-a-burgers to do the work I was being trained on.
to start off this adventure I had to Drive to the Dallas/Fort worth area to drop off my car. So what I did was call Mike at Dryad Bows and asked if it was ok to leave my car there for a few days.
Anyone that knows Mike, Knows how much of a Great guy he is. He told me it was ok to leave it there. So, on Tuesday March 16th, I stopped off at Dryad Bow's in Weatherford, Texas.
Before saying anything else. I want to Give a Big thanks to Connie, Mike & Jason for letting stop by.
I showed up around 10:30am and when I got ther I was treated like one of the family. As, mike & Jason was working on a bow, they let me take some pix ( will upload them when I get home. I'm at a friends house right now). They told me how they make their bows and answered my questions.
Watching the two Bowyers do their magic, with the help from a CNC mech. they cut out a Great looking riser, Mike talked about IFL and what it means and how they work. Before I left to take my little trip across Texas and in to New Mexico. Mike showed some bows that where getting ready to be sent out.
Everyone was a work of art. They where light and felt like a glove in my hand. Dryad Bows is now on my Bow list to get one.
As the week went on I showed off my PSE Kingfisher bow to the guy training me and we talked about bows and did some shooting. I'm hoping this will light the spark in Him to get a trad Bow.
The trip took me from Abilene to San angelo to Crane and around to Lovington New Mexico and over to Sweetwater. I wasn't that far from where CK, does his Hog guiding and that part of Texas is God's Country.
If any of Y'all get a chance to Visit Dryad bow's or able to hunt with 7th Age. You won't forget it.
More later with pix.... I'll be home some time Sunday.
