To Cut or Not to cut? That's my question!

Just got a new Great Northern Adjustable Bow Quiver. Nice design. The rubber straps wrap around the bow at least twice however, leaving a long rubber tail. Wondering if you're supposed to cut that tail or not? What do you GN owners do with the extra rubber strap?
Thanks

I don't because I use the quiver on several different bows. The strap is supposed to go around twice--the first time you pull it real snug, then as you overlap that wrap the second time only enough stretch needs to go into it to make the post. If you have a long tail left, you can tuck it under the second wrap and pull snug and it will not flop around and you will have it for other bows that may need a longer strap.

Thanks
