Weight tubes?

Do the weight tubes that they sell at 3rivers drastically affect arrow spine?

I've been playing around with the 3,5 and 8 grain tubes and have not noticed a changed in the static or dynamic spine of the shafts using them.  I shoot the Heritage 250's.  dino
