The Final Four!!
« on: March 26, 2010, 08:01:00 PM »
Per the boss, I had to choose four bows to keep and all the rest had to be sold.    So, today I received the fourth of the final four from Vermonster13. 60" Predator, 42# @ 28". Zebra wood riser.

Jay ST Charles Pacific Yew. 64" 45# @ 29"

Black Widow PCHIII. 58" 50# @ 29"

Black Widow PL-X. Zebra wood riser, Olive Ash limbs. 64" 53# @ 29"

My bow buying and trading days are over. At least for a little while! Shhhhhh!   :bigsmyl:

Nice final four.  My better half knows better than to try and limit me to four bows.  Have had more than that since before we got married.

Nice bows. I only have two bows, both preditors. I'm going to tell my wife that this guy has four bows so why can't I.

That Black Widow PLX would easily make my final four.

If I had to choose to have only one bow, that PL-X would be the one that wouldn't go!   :D  It is my cream of the crop so to speak.

Just four bows I can't do it!I made a few cuts myself and am down to just 10 bows.I am going to try to get down to 6 of the "best of the best" but all I have left are great bows so its hard to get rid of any of them. I still have one bow on order but have placed no new orders lately  :(  .

Looks like that Predator gets along pretty well with you.

It does Dave. I regretted letting the other one go and now that I have this one, it won't be going anywhere. I think what impresses me the most about the Predator is it's speed and smoothness of draw. Very much appreciate it again!

T W,

This is funny, if I had to get down to the final four, well I'd be hard pressed to choose and I'd probably be asking my wifey to choose her final four shoes, rings purses, etc. etc. LOL.

Seriously, FF is really a nice set of bows that will be up to any task and are all SWEET!

Hope you get yourself one of those big Spring OR gobblers!  BTW... watch out for old Paul Eschew... he be a stone-cold kill'r and coffee swigging, gutless method machine!

Very nice group of bows there. Other than a self-made osage bow, which is too heavy for me to shoot, I have only one bow and it's a Predator. I can't think of any other bow I would rather have. I like having just one bow, that way I can get to know it better and I don't have to adjust myself to shooting various other bows.

Barry, thanks for the kind words. I will definitely be out there trying to get a gobbler this spring. This will be my first year hunting turkeys with a bow.

Doug, I'm going to use the Predator for turkeys. Want to save the Yew bow for deer. I'm hoping to get my first deer with it and after spring turkey, the Yew bow will be all I'm going to shoot 'til deer season.
