My gosh that is so neat! I would love to try that. Could you please describe your arrows, and let us know the weight of your bow? I got the field point and adder but what about fletching?
thanks for sharing!

As far as your form goes.  Perhaps the right hand thing was what you needed to do to tweek the follow through.  You did not drop your bow arm until the arrow was gone, you wanted to see that arrow hit the bird, who wouldn't. At least you were not standing on one foot like me when you shot.  Back in the 60s it was a good thing arrows were cheaper, because we had a lot of pheasants around here to shoot at.  Not as many wild pheasants these days, but when ever I get the chance, I always skip the deer hunting to have some real fun with my bow.

I'll copy your form if it means hitting flying pheasant! Really great photos!

Thanks all... I was shooting my RER, 49# @ 26" and a light flu flu arrow... not sure on the weight... with a 125 gr field point and an adder.  I tried judos in the past, and knocked one down with it, but it ran 20 yards after it hit the ground.

I'll stick with this set up for a while, i think.
