Missouri clubs or ranges
« on: March 29, 2010, 08:34:00 AM »
Is there any ranges around Ridgedale/Branson area. I'm going to be at the Big Cedar Lodge the first week of May with the family and I would like to get a little shooting in,so I would know to take my bow with me or not. Thanks a lot for any information.

I wouldn't let the lack of a range stop me from packing along my bow.

Missouri is full of public ground that's great for stump shooting. Around the Branson area you'd better be sure you hit the stump though as they have their share of nice Ozark rocks.

Just an opinion and suggestion.

The carp should be spawning around then so you might want to bring your bowfishing gear. Also, Black Widow's factory is about 30 miles north of Branson in Nixa. They give a nice tour.

Too bad you won't be around the weekend of 5/15. That's the annual Stickbow Carnival out at Bois D'arc Conservation area. There will be LOTS of shooting taking place then.

I have been to the black widow factory in Nixa. They really treat you good there. They took me on a tour.

Branson Archery has a nice indoor and outdoor range. Since the weather is improving Jim (the owner)is getting ready to setup the outdoor 3-D. He has a traditional league starting June 1st
