Fedora Finds Gold
«

A friend of mine went into the woods with Mike Fedora to find wood for a bow. After cutting the tree down they found a beautiful watermark in the middle of the Tree. The look on Mikes face is priceless, and I'm sure the bow (or bows) he makes out of it will be as well.
Enjoy, I couldn't stop staring at it so I thought you fellas would also enjoy a little eye candy.

What a great picture of Mike. A wonderful Bowyer and a terrific gentleman. I can't wait to see his creations from that unusual piece of wood. Great color and figure.

Thanks Tom, I was hoping someone had a technical term for it. I searched spalted and found some pics and I agree. Anyone out there have a bow with spalted wood in it?
