Got invited to join a lease

Hope you get in there! I'm going to this new lease for Turkey on Friday.

Went this A.M. for my second time ever. I actually called some birds up! They locked up though. My blind was back light and they came in exactly opposite of my decoys so they wer looking right at me. Oh well, I learned some thing.

my uncle who took me deer hunting for the first time last season invited me to join thier lease, I was able to come and hunt with him before, but if everyone came, not everyone could hunt, now one of the guys is dropping out, so I got invited, I am the only bowhunter in the group, I am too young to drive so I still can only go when my uncle goes

Here is a pic of buck from this lease. He is only seen at night, beds in an area that is inaccessable without spooking him. No one killed him last year (that they know of).

That is what I paid in Alabama in 1989.  Same lease with same member-per-acre was over $1000.  Just plan on saving your money now.  If leasing is just catching on in your state, you are in for a wild ride.

This puts the size of that deer in perspective! Little guy to the left was checked in and weighed 100lbs.
