Bows tillered for split but shot three under

I was interested in obtaining some opinions regarding bows shot three under which were tillered for split finger. Other than raising the nocking point, what are the disadvantages?

I have found none. I have bought a lot of used bows tillered split and I just move the nock up a little if needed. If there is a noise issue then an additional set of wool puffs on the string will tame it.

Most bows will be a little louder when shot 3 under but I have seen no differences in performance. I used to shoot split finger and switched to 3 under...all the bows still shoot and tune well!..Ryan

Some bowyers tiller a little for 3 under shooting, I know a couple high end makers I've talked to have told me that it makes to difference, so they tiller the same way. Bottom line, if you go 3 under, it won't hurt anything.

I have one that actually got quieter when shot three under......go figure! From what I gather, the bowyer doesn't alter the tiller for either style.
