Cari-bow Tundra Wolf

Has anyone shot or does anyone own one of these bows?  I currently own a Featherhorn that is 64".  I am interested in how the Tundra Wolf might compare to the Featherhorn.  Is there a big diffenrence in performance.  I know that the Tundra Wolf has alot more R/D as compared to the Featherhorn.  Any opinions would be appreciated.  Thanks.  Ken

I've shot a few different Tundra Wolfs and liked them all. It was actually one of those very bows that made me pick a Wolverine as my 1st Caribow. As far as performance, I guess we need to know what your looking for. For 3D or other tournament shooting that Featherhorn of yours is a nice smooth shooter. If you want a a bit shorter, quick, solid shooter and as long as you draw under 30something inches then I'd say try a Tundra Wolf or Wolverine. Then there's always the 3 piece Silver Fox....don't even look if you're not ready to start spending...those are real beauties! Hope this helps...Ryan

I agree with everything Ryan said. i've had them all but the Snowbird, and my favorite is the Peregrine.  The Tundra Wolf is right up there also. My best friend won't shoot anything But a Featherhorn. Abe doesn't make a bad bow so you can't go wrong either way.    And if you do, there is always someone out there that will buy your mistake!   :D

I am looking for a shorter bow for hunting.  I think I am going to go with the Tundra Wolf.  Like you stated the Featherhorn is smooth but is 64" which is a little long for hunting. I draw @28" so the Tundra Wolf should be fine.  I am going with Leopardwood handle (if Abe can get it) or Striped Ebony.  I am not going with the diamond series to save money.  I will be getting Amberboo cores and antler tips with the Beaver tail grip and rest.  I figure it will run around $800.  I have $350 saved up for it already and get my annual performance paycheck in Jun to finish the payment.  I will be sending a MO tomorrow to get things started.  Ken

Ken...Great choice with your 28" draw. That beavertail is the most durable all weather rest material I've used. You're gonna love the bow. Congrats...Ryan
