Look what my trail camera saw...
« on: April 05, 2010, 01:42:00 AM »
Went to check on my game-camera this weekend and move it so Spring floods wouldn't ruin it like my last one. Checked the SD card and had some cool pictures.

This guy did his thing for quite a while. I had pictures for 20 min. before this and about 10 min. afterwards...(the dates and times are not correct, obviously)

Not sure what this guy was up to. The herons have a rookery about 200 yards south of here. We watched them carry sticks up to their nests all day. Maybe he was looking for more building material. We saw one lugging a pretty good size snake. It was wiggeling quite a bit...

These are pretty common on our lease. Lisa and I were sitting in a ground blind during late bow season. We saw one of these guys slinking around through what was left of the soybeans. I lip squeaked at him and ended up callin him all the way to the blind over about 15 min. He got within 3 yards. Close enough we could see the steam from his breath. WAY COOL!

OKKeith, that big show-off ... strutting around like he knew he was on camera! What an ego trip, needs you to teach him some manners I think. Thanks for the photos, and good luck with your season north of the Red.

Thanks for all the encouragement!

I am hoping Lisa can get a chance at that guy! We have quite a few around the place. Here are a few more pics.

Here are three shooters, in my book at least...

I think this guy knew he was on candid camera...

Girls will ALWAYS get you into trouble, what would we do without them?...

She has new arrows all crested and fletched up. We spent the whole weekend shooting from our chairs at the 3D turkey. We put some serious perforations in that foam. We are pretty excited.
